I just realised that, I've not touched this for more than 6 months! My my, this blog is like, rotting on the internet!! Okies, so the loyal fan of mine, I'm going to do an entry for you, since I'm home alone today with nothing to do =)
Hmm...life's been pretty much stressful these past few days, with not enough sleep and loads of work to rush. Not to mention, some misunderstandings, unhappiness, quarrels, etc. You know, those negative feelings of life. But wells, just endure it for a few one days, one more project, and one more presentation, and I'll be freed of my chains, bondage, obligation and all! Cause after this, I'm on my own. Exams! Geez, I think the school should do something about their exam systems. For 3 years, the entire 6 semesters in poly, all exams are held right after the festive season of the Chinese! That's right, Chinese New Year! This year, it's being held on the 12th, 13th, 14th, and the 15th. Gee, how am I going out to do visiting? How am I going to travel overseas?
Umms, enough of the unpleasantness. On a happier note, much as I'm getting into quarrels on one side, I'm socializing more, on the other side. With everything back in full swing, what more can I ask for? And recently, I've gained a serious addiction to playing mahjong and "dai-dee"(not sure of it's spelling) with the rest of the guys. Not just that, the song, Way Back Into Love, by Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore is constantly grabbing my attention too! Haha!
All rights, enough of all these, I'm boring ya all with my life stories, it's nothing interesting, unless well, you know =)
Recently, I've seen many breakups, and I'm going to put out some advice here.
Between pride, and the person you love, which one do you choose??
Girls: When you are in a relationship with a guy, please cherish him. Don't treat your boyfriend as if he's merely a spare tyre. Not that I'm telling you to let him control you, or intruding into your personal space, but rather, make an effort to let him know that you still care. Be it a nice dinner together, a quiet stroll in the park, hearing each other's voices over the phone or maybe even a simple "I love you, darling" sms, it's more than enough. Take note though, don't over-use this, things will get boring after a while. Even honey tastes makes you nausea if you keep drinking it everyday. So, what I meant is that, occasionally do things which would spice up your relationship. Depending on what your interests are. I'll list out a few things you two can do at the end of my entry.
Oh, and another thing, for girls, if a guy dumps you for no good reason, forget him, he's a jerk and find someone better. If he dumps you because of other reasons, in which case mostly the girl is at fault, well, it's worth a try to get back together, if you've woken up from your dreamland and discover that the missing piece of your life, you've just thrown it away. How are you going to go about it, well, that would've to depend on the past, and the current situation.
Guys: When you're chasing a girl, there are times when you really have to sacrifice. Not just money and/or time, but something more valuable. Your pride. I know that most guys have ego, and that they just can't bear to bow their heads and ask. But if that's the case, well, then I guess you won't be getting a girlfriend anytime soon, until you learn a lesson in humility and manners. Where love is concerned, it's unconditional, and it's definitely not something that you can buy with the amount of money you spent on her, or the flashy sports car that you have. It's something unpredictable, unexpected, uncontrollable, unbearable and strangely easy to mistake for loathing, and it will feel like, you can barely contain it, like it doesn't belong to you anymore. Just your heart, in exchange for hers. Sadly, such feelings don't really exists in nowadays anymore. It seems like, the clear line between love and lust has become blurred, and it's like, love and lust comes together in a package deal. Quite a sad thing.
Remember when you're chasing a girl, what you must do, is to show your sincerity. It's not about how handsome you look, how classy you are, how much do you have in your wallet or how expensive is your car. What I'm saying is, guys, when you're going out on a date with a girl, you gotta look neat, clean and decently dressed. Who would like to go out with a guy that looks as though he hasn't showered for 3 days?? Well, you know the answer. And don't ever think of trying to impress a girl with your wealth, or your macho-ism, just relax, take it slow, and let the good times roll in, and go with the flow. And the rest is up to you =)
Okays! We've come to the conclusion of this entry, I hope I have not bored you guys to death. I don't know when I'll be updating again, so check back once in awhile =)
Tata for now!!
Love,
Jestyn
